Run annually, the Nottingham Classic Tour will take place on 28th July 2013. It is organised by Carlton & District Motor Club and is a Touring Assembly for Classic Cars dating from 1905 up to 1990, younger cars of an interesting nature are accepted at the organiser's discretion.

A 120 mile run through the lanes of Nottinghamshire/ Derbyshire and Leicestershire starting  from Asher House , Ripley, Derbyshire and finishing at Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire with intermediate stops, the Nottingham Classic has  a loyal following . Souvenir awards and catering for two people is included in the £45 per car entry fee. Navigation is by a high quality tulip style road book and all vehicles carry a souvenir rally plate. It is not a competition and requires no special insurance or a competition licence.
